The Westfield Mars 330 is a modern luxury porch awning made with a quality newly developed Ripstop polyester fabric, designed to withstand the elements, giving you an area of 330 x 250cm to use as an extra outdoor room, storage or with the purchase of an inner a great bedroom space. It has been designed specifically for motorhomes with a sliding doors but will work with so many more! It has a unique centre beam that sits higher than the other others to allow the use of the sliding door, but also offers better door clearance as well
Provided it is looked after it can be used in any season and will still last you for years to come, it has been designed with good and bad weather in mind; each of the side walls there is a door and a window gauze frame, if necessary these can be swapped over enabling the door to be further away from your vehicle. The two front windows can be made to “veranda” if required allowing in that extra ventilation on those beautiful summer days;
In the summer not only do the removable panels come in handy when pitching to make the awning lighter but you can pitch without the panels to use it as a summer shelter providing you with shade,
It has a UV rating of 50 + which is the highest achievable. In the colder rainy days it has an anti weather system which includes rain protected zips, waterproof toggle points and dual coated panels, don’t worry too much about losing out on great views when the panels are back on to keep to cold out, the large windows give you great panoramic views, you can then zip up the internal blinds for added privacy when needed. The awning also benefits from a hydrostatic head of 10,000mm more than suitable for UK weather.
The air frame has been made with a single point inflation for quick pitching but in the unlikely case that you do run into problems you can re inflate each beam separately or remove a single tube on site if needing to repair or replace – the added benefit of air tubes is for quicker pitching and sturdier in adverse weather; The Vega 330 comes with super beams which aids to the strength and durability as the beams are less likely to bend and flex than smaller beams
Designed to fit on to vehicles and motorhomes with a fitting height between 255 – 285cm, it can go down over a window, but you may not want to as this stops your window from being able to open and can leave a gap underneath and on top of the window. So for the best fit , first measure the flat part of your awning channel and this is your maximum length. So you need to measure and decide where the awning will go
